NOTICE, NOTICE, NOTICE!The next TBF of Michigan Inc. meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 7th, 2010. The Board members will meet at 10AM and the general membership meeting will be at 12:30PM. The meeting will be held in the Archery Room at Bass Pro Shop in Auburn Hills.
Please note the the 2 documents attached below - these agenda items will be discussed and voted upon at this meeting. Please make sure all club members have an opportunity to review this information and be sure each club as at least one representative present at this meeting to cast a vote on behalf of their club.

Kim Stricker former FLW and BASS touring pro, host of "Hook 'N' Look on Versus and long time friend of the TBF of MI., Inc. has graciously donated an all -inclusive day on the lake as a raffle prize.
Tickets will be $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00 and the winning ticket will be drawn at the 2010 State Championship in Muskegon, MI. Contact any board member for tickets.

TBF of Michigan Announces JUNIOR State ChampionshipJune 12, 2010 - Pontiac Lake - State Park Launch
Boys and girls ages 11-18 and members of TBF of MI Youth Club will be able to compete in this event. There are 2 age groups; 11-14 and 15-18, contestants must be 11 by 6/12/2010 and have NOT reached 19 by 7/31/2010.
If possible, same age group will not be paired together, 2 kids to a boat plus a captain and coach (this is also a learning event). Two youth anglers, one from each age group, and a parent wil advance to the National Guard Junior World Championship August 5-8, 2010 in Atlanta, GA.
A $20.00 entry fee will be collected with all monies and returned to the contestants via prize packs and travel expense. We are working with the MDNR to also combine this event into a conservation event, details to be announced at a later date.

TBF of MICHIGAN Announces 2010 State ChampionshipJuly 11, 2010 - Muskegon Lake - Fisherman's Landing
All contestants must be members of an affiliated TBF of MI club, members of FLW Outdoors and be in good standing. This event will qualify the 12-man team to represent Michigan at the TBF Northern Divisional September 5-10, 2010 on Lake Patoka.

TBF National Championship Announced...Mark your calendars for the TBF National in Tennessee (Lake TBD), which will be streamed on www.flwoutdoors.com.
April 21-24, 2010
Jason Knapp (boater), Team Nemasis Bass Club and Tommy Robinson (co-angler), Motor City Bass Club are the Michigan contenders. Both have the opportunity to advance to the $100,000 All-American and $1,000,000 FLW Championship. Jason will have a chance to win the "Living the Dream" package worth $100,000.

Moore & Lipinski Take Top Spots at ReelKids Casting ChampionshipTBF of MI hosted their second annual ReelKids Casting State Championship at Bass Pro Shops Auburn Hills, MI.
It was a cold and windy day in Auburn Hills but we were warm and toasty inside on the Tracker Boat pad. We had 8 of the 16 invitees show up. All 16 won various events we had in 2009. The 8 that showed up received a sponsor product package and Sam Moore from Detroit won the 12 to 15 year old age group, and Michael Lipinski from Roseville, MI won the 8 to 11 age group.
Michigan Wins Back-to-Back Division Titles!The 2009 Northern Division Champions from Michigan made a statement last week in Iowa that they will be the team to beat. They led the event wire to wire and finished up back to back division champions. Can they make it three in a row? Next year’s event will tell that story, but the Michigan team fished a nearly flawless event out of Fort Madison, Iowa on the Mississippi river this year and finished with 171 pounds even, besides he lion’s share of the nearly $25,000.00 in prize money, they also took home the Team Standings Ranger Cup money.

BPS will be providing us with hotdogs, buns, coke, a grill and gas to cook and distribute to guest at there boat show. We then ask for donations for the free food all proceeds will go to help our kids get to the World Championship this summer in
