State Championship in Muskegon, MI - July 11, 2010
Lake Fisherman's Landing in Muskegon, MI will launch the 2010 State Championship on July 11, 2010. Check-in and mandatory meeting start at 5pm on July 10, 2010. All contestant's must read the rules.

2010 Junior tate Championship Proves to be Largest to Date!
Pontiac Lake State Recreation Area site to the 2010 TBF of MI Junior State Championship! Congratulations Alex Cataldo of Fenton, MI and Danny Sprague of Hastings, MI both members of the Oakland Co. Junior Bass Busters, they on on there way to compete and represent MI. youth at the National Guard Junior World Championship in Atlanta, GA August 5-6-7th.
Also congratulations Justin Bruno of Nunica, MI 2.89 big bass and Cody Ankenbauer event big bass 3.25.
All 50 kids in the event all got approximately $50 tackle packs from great sponsors, plus we fed them and the 200+ family and friends.
Thank you to, Wayne Carpenter president and CEO of Extreme Tackle who emceed the event, and 27 volunteer boat captains and mentors. Our largest event to date Thank you all!!!!

The final day of the 2010 Federation National
Championship, presented by the National Guard left Jay Keith, from Camden,
S.C., the Champion boater and Matthew Hartman, from Fredricksburg, Pa., the
Champion co-angler.
The first two days of competition were held on
Watts Bar Lake, in Kingston, Tenn. Today’s final weigh-in was held in
conjunction with the final day of the FLW tour event at the Knoxville
Convention Center, in Knoxville, Tenn.
The 14 TBF anglers fished hard and reigned successful thus far to get to
the final contest, and like predicted the results came down to just ounces.

All contestants must be members of an affiliated TBF of MI club, members of FLW Outdoors and be in good standing. This event will qualify the 12-man team to represent Michigan at the TBF Northern Divisional September 5-10, 2010 on Lake Patoka.

Michigan Wins Back-to-Back Division Titles!
The 2009 Northern Division Champions from Michigan made a statement last week in Iowa that they will be the team to beat. They led the event wire to wire and finished up back to back division champions. Can they make it three in a row? Next year’s event will tell that story, but the Michigan team fished a nearly flawless event out of Fort Madison, Iowa on the Mississippi river this year and finished with 171 pounds even, besides he lion’s share of the nearly $25,000.00 in prize money, they also took home the Team Standings Ranger Cup money.
