2014 State Championship Elizabeth Park 8/24
TBF of Michigan 2014 State Championship (adult) is Sunday, August 24 on the Lower Detroit River launching out of Elizabeth Park. Entry fee is $100.00 per angler – includes $5 towards big bass award. Entry deadline is in TBF of Michigan possession on August 19.
The state championship is the day after the BFL. Registration for the state championship is Saturday, August 23rd at Elizabeth Park from 5PM until 6:30PM. Registration by 6:30PM is mandatory, and the mandatory pre-tournament meeting starts at 7PM. The meeting will consist of partner pairing, rules and launch procedure. Links to forms below.
Tournament check-in and livewell checks at Elizabeth Park start at 5AM Sunday morning until 6:15AM. Tournament launch is 6:30AM. You must finish fishing and be checked back in by 2:30PM Sunday. There will be an area immediately around the boat ramp that will be off limits.
Each club must send an equal number of boaters and non-boaters. If you don’t have a club or have any questions please contact Matt Bellitini 248-762-5660 or Dave Reault 734-718-4711 (see below). The top 12 finishers at this event will be on the 2014 state team fishing somewhere in Illinois in September 2015.
