Thanks especially to the efforts of Mr. Alan Thompson, owner of Topinabee Motel, the Indian River Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2013 TBF of Michigan State Championship on Sunday, June 2nd on Burt and Mullett Lakes.
The tournament entry deadline for the Sunday June 2, 2013 TBF of Michigan adult State Championship is Saturday, May 25th. Your tournament entry of $100.00 must be received by TBF of Michigan by Saturday, May 25 to fish.
The Bass Federation (TBF), the national leader in NO cost or low cost tournament fees, announced today the dates and locations of the seven 2013 No Entry Fee Division Championships. This year’s hosts are the state federations of Washington, Arizona, Tennessee, Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island and New Jersey.
For those that haven’t heard we have our TBF of Michigan President’s meeting scheduled for Sunday April 21st at Gander Mountain in Novi. The meeting will begin at 10:30AM.
President Dave Reault has provided full details on the next TBF of Michigan presidents’ membership meeting. The meeting is Sunday December 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM. The meeting location is the Novi Gander Mountain.
TBF of Michigan will be hosting the 2014 TBF Northern Divisional Championship on a lake TBA. 2013 is the year to make sure you’re a TBF member! The 2013 TBF of Michigan State Championship Team will fish in Michigan for top honors, national championship and much more in September 2014!

Danny Sprague and Matt Davis won the two 2012 TBF of Michigan Jr. State Championship bass tournament age groups on Pontiac Lake June 9th to advance to the National Guard Junior National Championship on Lake Lanier in Georgia.

The Bass Federation Inc. (TBF) is partnering with FLW Outdoors to host the 2012 Michigan High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be held on Sunday June 24th at Lake St Clair.
Nick Marsh won the 11-14 age group and Cody Harris won the 15-18 age group in The Bass Federation of Michigan 2009 Jr State Championship on Lake Nepessing. Marsh had 3 bass for 6.57 pounds to lead all anglers in the younger group while Cody Harris brought in a whopping 12.68 pounds 5-bass limit to easily win the older age group.
Pictures from day one of the 2012 TBF Federation National Championship including TBF of Michigan boater Marc Snyder who led the first two days after a huge 20 lbs 5 oz limit of bass on day 1, and co-angler Matt Gray. Snyder finished 4th with a total of 33 pounds after bringing in only 1 bass the final day, but still earned a trip to the BFL All-American. Gray finished in 38th place on the co-angler side.

The Bass Federation announced today it has acquired the nation’s fastest growing team fishing circuit, the National Bass Anglers Association, (NBAA). TBF will take on leadership and management roles immediately. NBAA is now owned and managed by the nation’s oldest and largest organized grassroots fishing, youth and conservation organization with over 45 years of experience.
