2019 State Championship July 14 Lake St. Clair

| January 17, 2019

The 2019 TBF of Michigan State Championship will be Sunday, July 14 at Lake St. Clair launching from Harley Ensign Boater Access Site. The event is the day after the BFL also fishing St. Clair. Since you’re already going to be there, why not fish the BFL on Saturday? Further details to follow.

Entry deadline July 8. Entry fees remain $125* for boaters and $75* for co-anglers (*includes big bass). There will be a mandatory pre-tournament meeting Saturday evening, July 13 after the BFL event. Check-in time will be announced at this pre-tournament meeting. Launch may be 6 AM. Tournament waters go off limits at the end of registration, Saturday, July 13, 2019.

10% of the entry fees will be used to cover tournament expenses (we are using the BFL weigh-in equipment and trailer for this tournament). A percentage of the entry fees may be put towards the entry fees and a stipend for boaters and co-anglers who qualify for the 2019 TBF National Semi-Final (stipend and amount depends on participation).

Participants entering linked as a boater – co-angler pair will be assured of their respective boater or co-angler positions and participation. You will not fish with who you signed up with. You will go into the random draw. TBF of Michigan cannot guarantee boaters who don’t enter with a linked co-angler won’t end up in a boater on boater draw, though we will do our best to avoid this. The ONLY way to avoid this is to enter together with a co-angler.

The top 12 TBF of Michigan members in the standings at the end of this State Championship will qualify for the September 7-8, 2019 TBF National Semi-Final against the Ohio Bass Federation on the Lower Detroit River.
